Queens Foundation for Architecture
The Queens Foundation for Architecture, based in Queens, was established in 2017 to advance Architecture awareness through stimulating Architectural/Design thinking, formation of relationships and partnerships that encourage community engagement, and fostering an understanding of the built environment and architecture through K-12 educational programs and scholarships.
The organization’s programs seek to raise public awareness and foster the understanding of the design process; to encourage students and the public to be innovative, transform lives and create a better built environment; to pave the way for students to pursue careers in architecture and its related industries; and to strengthen partnerships with the public and communities.
The scholarship foundation provides financial support for post-secondary education as well as financial restitution during post-secondary education.
Thru its shared vision, the Queens Foundation for Architecture offers opportunities to participate in its mission through financial and volunteer support from others.
